bird sticks

about six months ago i heard this squeak.  a miserable little squeak.  what the hell is that squeak? all day...squeak squeak squeak.  it took a few days to realize we had a baby bird in our orange tree.

awww the sweetest little baby bird.  everything changed.

that squeak became our friend.  and we witnessed the baby bird grow, fall out of the tree...make her way back into the tree, hop from branch to branch...then make it out into our garden, the gateway to the great big world ahead.

you will have to just take my word for it...that pile of sticks is a bird's nest.  our orange tree got pruned and the nest came down....and i couldn't just get rid of it :)  xxoo
