the wallflowers
last weekend deb schwedhelm and i held our first wallflower friend's retreat at the beautiful twenty-nine palms oasis inn. words can't even begin to describe how lovely it all was. the women were like gifts to us--talented, encouraging, patient and so so passionate about photography. we couldn't have asked for a better group. more on them soon.
we had three gorgeous families come to model for us. here are a few shots from one of our mini sessions. i have been having fun playing around with the edits...working on a new set of actions and presets. i promised the retreat ladies they would get to sample them when i was ready...holding my breath i could get something together. well it must be meant to be because these shots have inspired me....so much i am thinking of naming my new set the wallflowers...after this lovely first set of woman who have blessed my life and changed me for the better. xo

i think these have a very 70s but modern bohemian feel to them. i love them. and i'm bummed i missed this retreat, but i'm so happy to hear it went well. i really hope this means there will be another one.
