april come and gone

it has been such a long time.  so very long since i last posted.  for some reason, the longer i go without posting the harder it becomes to post. so i am throwing up a bunch of shots to try and redeem myself and get back in the groove.

so much has happened this month.  it has been very fast and very full.  here are a few shots from our spring break trip to central california.  we had such a great time and now it seems so very long ago. one day we headed up the coast to san simeon to see the seals.  one of the above photos is joe about 10 feet from a few sleepy seals.  we ran across them on a very quiet beach with no people. so wonderful to find a beach with seals and no people.  we were very respectful of them...stayed quiet and at a close distance. they look so lazy and slow. however, later i learned that they can get up and move very fast and that shot of joe gives me a bit of the heebie jeebies.  maybe just a wee bit too close.

besides the little get away early april...my babies turned five, i have been working on two books with over 40 preschoolers for a school project, two sets of company, spring cleaning, still working on new actions and presets, in the first stages of planning a fall workshop with deb, cub scouts, baseball, a few clients here and there, working on a new website...the list goes on and on.

with may just a few days away and the summer right around the corner i am grateful for this month of madness and the craziness that is sure to continue.  xo

ps.  all the shots are with a lensbaby...except the last, that's santa ynez from the car window.
